Led by NFS President Dwight Ferguson, NFS has emerged as a shining example of a business involved with its community. Located in a rural East Tennessee county in which one half the land is owned by the U.S. Forest Service, NFS has found many opportunities to bring value to the children of Unicoi County. The county of approximately 16,000 is challenged to meet the costly investment necessary for quality public education. In 1988, NFS stepped in to help with a program custom made for the children of its community.
